Worship @ warehouse:180
At warehouse:180, we are very passionate about worshipping God. We belive not only that we are created
to worship our Creator, but also that worship is an important part of maintaining a healthy relationship
with Jesus Christ. We worship out of gratitude...we worship out of awe and wonder...we worship out of
our pain and confusion...we worship because that's the way we were made...we worship with all of our
hearts because to do anything less would not fulfill us.
Worship is not just about singing songs; it’s about living life in a way that is pleasing to God. Worship is a lifestyle.
In the words of Jesus’ half-brother, James:
"Pure and genuine religion (worship) in the sight of God the Father means caring
for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you."
-James 1:27 (New Living Translation)
If you truly want to lead those around you in worshipping God, don’t get wrapped up in the sinful things of the world. And if
you genuinely want to demonstrate to those around you what true worship looks like, sing with all of your heart at church on
Sunday…and then invite them along to feed the homeless on Monday…and to go hang out with orphan kids on Tuesday…and to shovel
snow for the elderly on Wednesday…and…well, you get the idea…
At warehouse:180, our heart is to make a difference in the world around us in the name of Jesus Christ. So come join us for some
pretty rocking music on Sunday mornings, but make sure to also come along when we go out into the community and make the love of
God tangible for those around us who have no hope. That's what true worship is all about.
All of that said, we do play a lot of music at warehouse:180. If you are interested in becoming a part of the team, contact us. and we'll get the process started. We are always looking for new musicians and people who have a heart to serve behind-the-scenes. We expect that people who serve at warehouse:180 will seek after Jesus every day of their lives and will choose to live according to what the Bible says. You can get more information by talking to us personally or by checking out the warehouse:180 Lifestyle Covenant at the bottom of the worship team expectations document below.
